ABOUT ME
Hi I’m Ruth and welcome to my page.
I qualified as a nurse in 2008 from Canterbury Christchurch University. Having an interest in women’s health and Menopause, I am passionate about the aging skin and helping women (and men!) to age gracefully without looking false and over treated. I am now a Nurse Practitioner and prescriber. I offer a wide range of treatments including advanced dermal fillers, wrinkle reducing treatments, skin boosters, vitamin and hay fever injections, skin tag removal and advanced skin care treatments. I am fully trained and insured in all my treatments and have recently gained my British Menopause society Certificate in Menopause Care. I am also a member of the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN)

TREATMENTS
🌟🌟Toxin Treatments 🌟🌟
FROWN, FOREHEAD, CROWS FEET & BUNNY LINES
Reduce fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead, frown lines, crows feet and bunny lines using small injections of botulinum toxin to paralyze the muscles that cause these wrinkles.
LIP FLIP
2 tiny bolus of botulinum toxin injected into the vermillion border of the top lip to flip the lip up giving the impression of a fuller lip
GUMMY SMILE
Botulinum toxin used to temporarily paralyze the elevator muscles, preventing the lip from lifting too high when you smile and exposing too much of the gum.
excessive sweating (HYPERHYDROSIS)
Injections using Botulinum toxin into the axilla (armpit) and hairline to block the nerve signals responsible for sweating, stopping the sweat glands from producing too much sweat.
SMOKERS LINES
Wrinkles above the top lip created by pouting the lips, very common in smokers, injected with Botulinum toxin to prevent the wrinkles appearing

Named after the ancient Egyptian Queen with the famous jaw and neckline, a Nefertiti lift is a non invasive procedure where small amounts of Botulinum toxin are injected into the muscles in the lower face and neck specifically the Platysma bands
teeth grinding (masseter)
Injecting small doses of Botulinum toxin directly into the masseter muscle weakens the muscle enough to stop habitual grinding of the teeth and clenching of the jaw. This significantly relaxes the muscle and reduces wear and tear on the teeth

(DOWNWARD SMILE)
Injection of botulinum toxin into the Depressor Anguli Oris (DAO) muscle to lift the corners of the mouth giving a more happy appearance
DERMAL FILLERS
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally produced by your body. The largest amounts of it are found in your skin, connective tissue and eyes. Its main function is to retain water therefore keeping your tissues well lubricated and hydrated. Hyaluronic acid filler is a synthetic version, which is injected into the skin at different depths to help fill in facial wrinkles, provide facial volume and augment facial features such as the lips. When the skin is hydrated, increased cell production can take please, which leads to smoother plumper skin cells.
